Two, Three, or Four Day Wilderness Trips on Oregon's Rogue RiverWilderness Rafting Trips on the World Famous Rogue RiverThe federally protected "National Wild and Scenic" section of the Rogue River is, in our opinion, the "Crown Jewel" of all multi day river rafting adventures in North America. A glimpse of Paradise Lodge, where we stay for one night. The Rogue River, because of its unique qualities, is one of the original "7" rivers in the entire United States given federal protection as a "National Wild and Scenic" waterway under the National River Protection Act of 1968. Thus, whitewater enthusiasts are guaranteed an uncrowded, pristine environment restricted from the encroachment of civilization forevermore. The charm of this roadless, motorless class II-IV white water adventure is interspersed with tranquil pools, narrow canyons edged by towering cliffs and old growth Douglas Fir Forests, mixed with a variety of deciduous trees. This Lower Rogue River Canyon adventure offers several side hikes, numerous waterfalls, loads of history and tales and a historic museum in one of the most beautiful, wildlife filled canyons in the lower 48 states. Otter, Beaver, Black Tail Deer, Black Bear, Osprey, King Fisher, Blue and Green Heron, Bald and Golden Eagle, Wild Turkey and a variety of ducks and other wildlife call this place home and are common sightings here. Our on-the-water trip format gives you the choice of active participation or full relaxation. You can choose, mix and match daily, what is right for you—be it in one of our one or two-person, self-bailing, inflatable kayaks or in the comfort of our large rafts which have padded seats with back rests. Every Tuesday and Friday our Rogue River Canyon lodge-to-lodge itinerary takes advantage of Black Bar and Paradise lodges, the two most pristine and comfortable wilderness lodges available. This means that at the conclusion of each day's activity, hot showers, fresh linen and the finest family-style home cooked meals anywhere await you. On Fridays, we also offer the best of both worlds:
Come, see, and share this very special place with us. This is truly a river that should be on everybody's list of "things to see and do" at least once before life passes them by.
