Whitewater Rafting Safety at Noah'sNeither Noah nor any of his crew has in the past or will ever in the future compromise your safety for momentary excitement. Since 1969, Noah has been, and continues to be a major leader and innovator in procedural and equipment safety in the whitewater recreation industry. Before each river trip, whether you are a first time rafter or a seasoned whitewater veteran, you will receive a complete orientation and safety briefing by trained professional guides on both land and water safety and proper procedures. You will also receive in-boat orientation and additional safety information. On every trip we have extensive medical kits, constant communication by way of hand and whistle signals, satellite and cell phones, and evacuation plans and procedures. All of Noah’s guides have had extensive training and have been certified in Noah’s annual "policy and procedural" training program, certified by Rescue 3 International as Swift Water Rescue Technicians and certified by the American Red Cross in First Aid and CPR. Many of Noah’s trip leaders, head guides and others have also received additional training in Wilderness First Aid, First Responder, and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training. Many of Noah’s vehicle drivers are trained and licensed with Commercial Driver's Licenses and also have passed classes in First Aid and CPR. |
